After playing at the lake for awhile, we headed back to the cabin for lunch and then Mark and his brother, Blain took off for some power fishing. My sister-in-law, Nancy, and I were getting rather annoyed when they hadn't returned 4 hours later. We were to the point of not speaking to them when I heard Mark's truck pull up and Mark yelling hysterically at the top of his lungs for us. When we got outside, this is what we saw......
I, personally, thought it was disgusting, but Mark was very, very, very proud of his catch.
A whopping 43 inches!!
So.....now we have Pike for days. It's pretty good grilled with peach salsa!!!

On Memorial weekend, we headed out to our future home near Durango, CO - Vallecito Lake.

It rained most of the weekend, so we had to spend the weekend all bundled up with the heater on, but it was still perfect.
